The Minnesota Timberwolves have signed head coach Chris Finch to a multiyear extension, the team announced Monday.

Finch’s coaching staff also received extensions.

The Timberwolves were 46-36 this season, Finch’s second as coach, the seventh-best single-season record in franchise history. The Timberwolves also led the NBA in points per game (115.9) for the first time in franchise history. Finch’s squad also led the NBA in 3-pointers made with 1,211 and turnovers forced with 1,339.

Finch has 62 wins in two seasons, which rank fourth in franchise history. His .504 winning percentage trails only Flip Saunders’ .521 mark.
