Florida A&M suffered a tough home loss to Alabama A&M at Bragg Memorial Stadium, and now it’s time to break down what happened.
On this episode of the Strike Season Podcast, we take an honest look at the FAMU vs. Alabama A&M matchup and ask the questions Rattler Nation is talking about: What went wrong? What went right? And what should the FAMU faithful take away from Saturday’s loss?
Was it execution? Coaching? Turnovers? Missed opportunities? Or were there deeper issues that showed up during the game?
We’ll break down the biggest moments from FAMU’s loss, identify the positives the Rattlers can build on, and discuss what needs to improve as the season continues.
🏈 Sportsmanship in College Football: Are the Unwritten Rules Disappearing?
We’ve seen a rash of plays across college football during the first few weeks of the season that have sparked conversations about sportsmanship, respect and the unwritten rules of the game.
So, what exactly is sportsmanship?
Have the unwritten rules that once governed how players competed against each other become a thing of the past? Is today’s college football culture different? And where should the line be drawn between playing with emotion and crossing the line?
We’re opening up the conversation and giving HBCU football fans a chance to weigh in.
💰 Who Is Responsible for Funding HBCU Athletics?
There’s also plenty of noise surrounding the question of who should be responsible for funding college athletics, particularly at HBCUs.
Should universities and state governments carry the burden? What role should alumni, boosters, corporate sponsors, NIL, fans and the community play?
We’ll have an open and honest conversation about the financial challenges facing HBCU athletics and what it could take to build sustainable athletic programs.
